Description

Eligibility Requirement: Open to healthcare professionals involved in formulary or other drug policy decisions. Also, healthcare practitioners who support the P&T process or who serve on P&T committees are encouraged to attend.

Pre-registration is required through the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. Onsite Registration is not available. Free to pre-screened applicants meeting the above requirements. ACPE Credit: CE will be provided by the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. Attendees must meet eligibility requirements to participate in the workshop. They must also complete the University of Arizona CE and Evaluation forms at the workshop to earn ACPE credit.


LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • Compare and contrast the strengths and utility of study designs, levels of evidence, and types of outcome measures used in CER research.
  • Define comparative effectiveness research (CER).
  • Demonstrate how to obtain (CER) reviews and how to become engaged in the Effective Healthcare Program.
  • Describe the AHRQ Effective Healthcare Program, its process and products.
  • Distinguish between three (CER) methods.
