Description
Contrary to popular belief, the best way to get a task done well and on time isn’t necessarily to focus only on the task. Look around your pharmacy and take note of the teams that thrive no matter what gets thrown their way. Now compare those teams to the ones that can’t seem to complete the simplest of tasks without a dramatic meltdown. What makes one team succeed where another one fails? This session will focus on how to engage team members in a way that keeps them connected to the task, relating well to each other, and contributing their best work throughout the process.

  • Compare and contrast outcomes when these strategies are and are not used.
  • Describe at least two strategies to put people before the task on current or future projects in your practice setting.
  • Give examples of when putting people before task has made a difference.
