Description
This presentation is a wide-ranging discussion of drugs of interest in an acute care environment. The areas of emphasis in this presentation will be a blend of basic background drug information, pertinent disease facts and assessment of the usefulness of these drugs in acute care. Economic issues regarding these new drugs will also be discussed.

  • Identify indications, pharmacology, adverse effects and dosing of the products discussed.
