Description
There are opportunities to advance clinical practice in ambulatory settings within your health system, but aren’t sure how to begin? You will gain insights into and develop the vision for the new ambulatory practice model using recent PPMI recommendations highlighted by the section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners. Participants will apply strategies to develop, implement, and expand an ambulatory clinical service including key steps to a business plan to ensure a valuable and sustainable pharmacy practice.

  • Describe the key drivers for development of ambulatory pharmacy services.
  • Design ambulatory pharmacy services to meet key accountability goals and organizational needs.
  • Explore steps pharmacists can use to achieve quality benchmarks as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
