LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • Determine the patient's subtype of arthritis based on their symptoms and develop a medication regimen for their subtype.
  • Develop a medication regimen based on the patient's diagnosis with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
  • Develop an education program for patients receiving biologic therapies for JIA, Crohn's or UC, incorporating new evidence on the long-term effects of these treatments in children.
  • Discuss new strategies to slow the development of TPN-induced cholestasis and liver disease.
  • Evaluate new drug therapies for the treatment of short bowel syndrome and their role in the treatment of pediatric patients.
