In this workshop, explore the benefits you’ll reap from developing a residency program and having residents at your site. You’ll learn what’s required, how your institution currently measures up and how to get ready. You’ll discuss challenges while learning from those who have recently met the challenges and started successful residency programs.

LEARNER OUTCOMES:

  • Define challenges, and strategies for meeting the challenges, to starting a residency program.
  • Describe approaches taken by organizations with successful new residency programs.
  • Describe the benefits of starting a residency program in your organization.
