Description
For far too long, we’ve believed that leadership is a title that is bestowed upon us. A role we hold. Something we DO after the votes are counted, the contract is signed, and we are officially anointed as “the boss.” But is that really what leadership is?

This session will reframe leadership to demonstrate that it is not a role to be filled by one person, but EVERYONE on a team. Instead of thinking of teams as sitting at a long table with one leader at the head of it, what if the table was round and everyone’s seat mattered equally? What if leadership is a puzzle and “the boss” only has one piece? What then?!

This session will use a mix of stories, real life examples, and interactive engagement strategies to help you not only reframe leadership in general…but YOUR leadership.

  • Discuss your unique leadership attributes and how you might better use them.
  • Explain the difference between a title of leadership and how they can exercise everyday leadership.
  • Illustrate the impact of everyday leadership in the real world.
