Michael Vigoda, MD MBA, Director, Center for Informatics and Perioperative Management, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine
Dr. Vigoda is currently the Director, Center for Informatics and Perioperative Management in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Miami. He is a board certified pediatrician and anesthesiologist. He has practiced pediatric anesthesia since 1994.
His current research interests include the use of electronic medical records in helping physicians provide quality care as well as the medico-legal ramifications of using EMRs. He is a frequent speaker at regional and national meetings for both anesthesiology societies and the American Health Information Management Association.
