Ms. Jones has over 25 years of experience in healthcare risk management, liabilitly claims management, insurance and alternative risk consulting services to hospitals, senior care and physician organizations.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Business and holds a Masters in Health Administration from George Washington University. In addition, she received her CPCU designation.
Ms. Jones has served as President of the Maryland Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Currently, she is the Regional Manager for RCM&D Healthcare, and Director of SISCO, a TPA specializing in healthcare claims.
Ms. Shope has 17 years in health care risk management handling clinical risk management for long term care, tertiary care and physician groups and several years of providing risk management consulting services for insured clients. She has a real life perspective to her role as a risk management consultant as she has had experience as a risk manager, director of risk management, patient advocacy and performance improvement, director of regulatory compliance and patient safety officer. Ms. Shope earned a BSN and a MHSA. She received an Associate in Risk Management designation
