Paul Greve is Executive Vice President in the Willis Health Care Practice. He monitors national medical malpractice claims and insurance trends and consults with Willis clients. Paul has 20 years experience in major Ohio hospitals including risk management and general counsel. He has 15 years experience in the malpractice insurance industry including employment by Medical Protective. Paul has authored articles in numerous insurance, legal, and medical publications as well as medical textbooks on risk management and medical-legal topics.Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree and is a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter. He is a Distinguished Fellow of ASHRM.

The Physician Insurers Association of America (PIAA) closed claim data and the claims and suits from The Doctors Company/OHIC Insurance’s files are representative of national loss trends in surgery. A review of this data provides insights into the underlying causes of patient injuries. Speakers provide tools and data for risk managers to manage surgical risks.
