Description
Healthcare facilities – even in “low-crime” areas – may be vulnerable to gang activity, intrusions and terrorism. Staffing cutbacks, changes in Joint Commission standards and other factors actually increase risk exposure. This enterprise risk management (ERM) program offers a 360-degree perspective on how to identify and address security risks associated with criminal and terrorism activity. Included is an ERM-style security risk toolkit.
LEARNER OUTCOMES:
Look for key gang related, intrusion and terrorism-link security risks in the organization
Demonstrate use of ERM tools in managing healthcare organization security risks
Design a practical ERM security risk plan for the healthcare organization
