Nanomedicine, pharmacogenetics and other emerging technologies are expected to revolutionize the healthcare delivery system, vastly improving the ability to screen, diagnose and treat. While such innovations hold promise for managing chronic disease and improving health, little is known about how to best approach the inherent regulatory and risk issues. This session explores products and treatments that make up the new paradigm for healthcare and identifies proactive strategies for managing the associated liability risks.
