Pat is the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer for Main Line Health, a large suburban Philadlephia health system and in that capacity is responsible for the overall management of Main Lines compliance program.
Pat is a three-time graduate of Temple University. She holds a BA in Political Science (cum laude), a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) and a Juris Doctorate (JD). She is She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Health Care Compliance Association and is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.

Description
Compliance programs play a role in helping healthcare organizations manage challenges associated with the False Claims Act, the Anti-kickback Statute, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, etc. This session covers the basics of compliance programs – how they are structured, the seven elements of effective programs and regulatory issues most commonly encountered. Tools and techniques of successful compliance programs are provided and case studies are used in group discussion.
