From 1996 to 2005, Dana was with a multi-national broker. From 1989 to 1996, Dana was a Senior Production Underwriter for CNA Insurance Companies covering the Mid-Atlantic states. Her responsibilities included underwriting, marketing and coordination of risk management and claims services for physician group, hospitals, and managed care entities.
From 1986 to 1989, Dana was a Professional Liability Underwriter for the Illinois State Medical Inter-Insurance Exchange/Illinois State Medical Society. Prior to the insurance industry, she worked as a nurse in the operating room and ICU. Dana attended Northwestern University and Wesley-Passavant School of Nursing of Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Lauree Barreca has over 25 years experience in managing healthcare litigation. She is a Registered Nurse who received her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. While a partner at the law firm of OHagan, Smith and Amundsen in Chicago she represented both healthcare systems and individual physicians. As the AVP of Claims at MMI Companies, a Healthcare Risk Management firm, she was responsible for the Claims and Risk issues for their clients. She is currently the Managing Attorney, Claims and Litigation at The Johns Hopkins Health System.

Ms. Jones has over 25 years of experience in healthcare risk management, liabilitly claims management, insurance and alternative risk consulting services to hospitals, senior care and physician organizations.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Business and holds a Masters in Health Administration from George Washington University. In addition, she received her CPCU designation.
Ms. Jones has served as President of the Maryland Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Currently, she is the Regional Manager for RCM&D Healthcare, and Director of SISCO, a TPA specializing in healthcare claims.

This presentation will address how to insure Cyber Liability exposures in a captive insurance program. Cyber Liability is a rapidly growing exposure for healthcare organizations and is a new area of risk for experienced risk managers. Presentation will include decision to insure risk, reinsurance process, claims handling, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation activities.
