Description
This course will cover the risk considerations related to transfers of residents from one level of service to another in senior care and housing facilities or when facilities must be closed. Recent legal cases related to resident transfers will be reviewed.
LEARNER OUTCOMES:
- Identify at least three considerations to reduce risks of resident transfers.
- Relate the general issues in at least two recent legal cases involving resident transfers.
- State the steps to ensure safe, legal transfers of residents.
