Colleen is Assistant Vice President of Risk Management for Allied World Health Company, a professional liablity insurance company. She provides clinical risk managment consulative services to senior living clients.
Colleen also has experience working for an insurance broker and insurance carriers. She has also conducted file reviews of records going into litigation.
She has a bachelors in nursing degree from Pacfic Union College. She holds a CPHRM and COHN-S designations.
Mary Lynn is the VP of Clinical Risk Management in the Willis HRH Chicago office. Ms. Curran has been working in the healthcare risk management field as a consultant to healthcare organizations and insurance companies for many years.
Mary Lynn served on the executive board of the Chicago Healthcare Risk Management Society (CHRMS) in 2002-2004 and 2006-2008 and participates on board committees. She was awarded the CHRMS 2008 Lifetime Achievment Award for her work and dedication to the Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society. Description
Elopement in healthcare is a high risk situation resulting in significant financial and reputational loss. Over the years, many lessons have been learned on preventing, responding and overall planning for this event. Case studies, management and training tools will be presented along with needed information on screening for potential elopers and response techniques. Data from events and claims will demonstrate the critical experience and severity levels of resident/patient elopement in acute, long term care and seniors housing.
