Paul English Smith is vice president and general counsel for Cabell Huntington Hospital, a 313-bed teaching hospital in Huntington, WV. He serves as the in-house legal advisor to the hospital and its Medical and Dental Staff and is responsible for managing the hospitals self-insurance program for professional, general and employers liability.
Mr. Smith is a past president of ASHRM. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management and has over 25 years experience in healthcare risk management.

Dan Groszkruger, Director of Claims & Litigation Management at Loma Linda University Medical Center, is a healthcare attorney. He began his career as a hospital administrator, and following law school graduation, he specialized in healthcare law. He limited his private practice to civil litigation, regulatory compliance, risk management, licensing and disciplinary matters. He earned both bachelor's and master's degrees from UCLA, and his J.D. is from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is both a CPHRM and a DFASHRM. He is a member of the ASHRM Board of Directors.
