Mary Peter, Director of Enterprise Risk Management, Eide Bailly, LLP
Mary Peter is the Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for Eide Bailly LLP. She has more than 20 years experience in the risk management and insurance industries, including 10 years in corporate risk management. In her role with the firm, Mary designs and implements client-specific ERM programs to identify, assess, respond to and monitor both risks and opportunities. She develops ERM project methodologies, training materials and deliverables to respond to regulatory requirements and strategic objectives of her clients.
Ms. O'Connor has more than 10 years of financial forecasting and operations experience in multiple industries and five years of strategy and operations consulting in the health care industry.
She has managed strategic planning efforts with large, national and small, regional provider and payer systems. Ms. O'Connor is experienced in planning for School of Medicine structure, operations and financials.
She has developed international and business unit financial forecasts and projections.
Kathy Wire is a consultant and author with over 25 years' experience in risk and claims management. She works with hospitals, health systems, nursing homes and professional liability carriers. More recently, she has focused her efforts on Enterprise Risk Management and the interpersonal aspects of risk and performance improvement. She is a contributing author and reviewer for Enterprise Risk Management Handbook For Healthcare Entities, published by the American Health Lawyers Association.
Description
Lead your organization into ERM more effectively. Initial ERM program development depends on several key factors. This program will discuss how you can determine whether the organization has 1) executive support at the right level, 2) a culture that allows the ERM decision-making process to work and 3) other assets that can be leveraged to strengthen ERM.
