Description
As professional and general liability claims become more complex, it is increasingly important that a risk manager be comfortable reading and interpreting insurance coverage language. This session will look at specific coverage language examples, including case studies with examples of coverage expansion, conflict identification and several new challenges arising for self insured entities. Objectives: Review coverage definitions found in professional and general liability policies. Identify coverage provisions that may apply to specific case examples. Review policy language while identifying conflicts, duplication and gaps in coverage. Prepare a checklist for policy language review on the risk manager's own program.
