"A.S.P.E.N.’s Medical Practice Section is pleased to present three
engaging lectures. The first will provide background information on
severe pancreatitis including basic terminology, pathophysiology,
epidemiology and potential clinical trajectories, prediction models
and metabolic impact. The second will emphasize the enteral versus
parenteral nutrition debate including when, how and what to feed.
The third will offer an invigorating discussion about parenteral nutrition
when enteral nutrition is not feasible including the controversy
over using intralipids."
