"This program will discuss how bacterial overgrowth in the intestine
contributes to intestinal failure and nutritional deficiencies. Join us
for an exploration of the diagnostic approach and clinical predictors
for intestinal bacterial overgrowth in patients who have short bowel
syndrome, have had bariatric surgery or are septic and in the intensive
care unit. Emphasis will also be placed on treatment options for
small bowel bacterial overgrowth and invasive colitis associated with
clostridium difficile."
