"Join an international group of expert faculty to explore the nutrition

and patients with an open abdomen. Emphasis will be placed on
the preoperative management of the oncology patient including
topics such as the impact of nutrition on optimal outcomes, ideal
protein requirements and the relationship of cachexia to outcomes.
Gain a strong understanding of why patients who have undergone
bariatric surgery require lifelong follow-up, describe the etiology of
nutrient deficiencies and appropriate supplementation regimens in
the post bariatric surgery patient. Lastly, learn the physiology of the
open abdomen and how to best prescribe an appropriate nutrient
delivery system."
