  • Adapt fractionation schedules with fraction sizes ranging between 1 and 8 Gy according to changing clinical needs
  • Discuss the difference between acute and late reacting normal tissues and tumors, accelerated repopulation in normal and tumor tissue, and other factors that need to be taken into account when designing fractionation schedules
  • Explain the logic behind the most currently used fractionation schedules
  • Interpret dose volume histograms and the consequences for TCP, NTCP and combined modality treatment, and understand their limitations
