Martin Hutchings is a training oncologist with the Departments of Oncology and Hematology at Copenhagen University Hospital, Denmark. Since his residency in 2000-1 he has worked in Nuclear Medicine, Hematology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology, focused on a special interest in malignant lymphomas. He has published numerous papers and textbook chapters on the role of PET and PET/CT in malignant lymphoma and gives frequent presentations on this topic at international scientific meetings. He is currently involved in studies of early prediction of response and prognosis and in clinical trials investigating early PET-response adapted lymphoma therapy. Among other affiliations, he is a member of the Scientific Committee of the EORTC Lymphoma Group and of the Data Monitoring Committee of the German Hodgkin Study Group.
