Description
Learning Objectives:
- Examine the differences between the treatment options for locally advanced pancreatic cancer and liver tumors, including the use of 3D conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT), intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT).
- Develop a basic understanding of how to delineate the primary pancreatic or liver tumor and involved regional nodes and how the use of different radiotherapy techniques impacts on treatment volumes and margin sizes.
- Examine the use of imaging, treatment planning, and treatment delivery techniques to account for respiratory motion.
