Presenters will summarize in Spanish the most informative and innovative in cancer management and technology, presented at the ASTRO meeting. Given the large Spanish-speaking attendance at the Annnual Meeting, this session aims to fostering educational exchange and collaboration with radiation oncologists in Spanish-speaking countries. At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to do the following: 1. Describe recent advances in management of patients with breast, prostate, lung, GI, Head&neck and Gyn cancer. 2. Describe innovative technology in radiation therapy. 3. Explain objectives of research and clinical investigation in cancer therapy.
