This session addresses two topics: 1) image registration in treatment planning and image guided treatment delivery and 2) basic principles of safety and quality improvement in clinical practice. Interpretation and Limitations of image registration will be discussed in typical clinical applications. The principles behind safety and quality improvement will be discussed including best practices for near-miss incident learning and methods for selecting the most effective quality improvement interventions.
