"The introduction of genetically engineered food animals will create a wide range of new product opportunities to benefit consumers, the environment and livestock producers. This panel of industry experts will discuss the challenges and opportunities confronting the producer of a hypothetical new product, high—Omega 3 (heart healthy) pork produced from pigs genetically engineered to produce less waste than conventional pigs. This session will provide technology companies and their customers in the food industry with a practical guide to introducing food products produced by genetically engineered animals."
