Description
"The adverse financial impact of workplace injuries and resulting loss of key talent and diminished morale can be more devastating than the failure of an investigational product. Yet workplace safety issues tend to suffer from a relative lack of attention until injuries manifest themselves. This panel of professionals will examine key on-site exposures such as bloodborne pathogens, biohazard safeguards, research animal controls and chemical hazards with an eye toward what practical steps companies can take at each stage of their life cycle to protect their employees. Off-site exposures such as automobile fleet management and foreign travel risks (endemic disease, repatriation and kidnap ransom) will also be discussed."

Objective1:Raise awareness of organization risk associated with failing to ensure employee safety.

Objective2:Discuss best practices controls, low costs and subsequent benefits to management.

Objective3:Develop an appreciation for tailored solutions to meet the needs of the company.
