Description
"Is having a well-prepared workforce one of your company's leading challenges? Do you know how to work with local schools to ensure that you will have the workers you need to
compete? This session presents examples of how companies across the United States are partnering with educators to create a strong local biotechnology workforce, including: a
major company whose community labs are reaching K-12 teachers and students; a biomanufacturer and community college collaborating to build a workforce pipeline; a business organization coordinating a statewide response to bioscience workforce needs; and a national center linking biotechnology educators from across the country."

Objective1:Describe how forward-thinking companies are finding ways to solve their own workforce challenges.

Objective2:Educate company managers about workforce development resources.

Objective3:Educate executives regarding how to initiate workforce education partnerships and the many benefits to be gained from such collaborations.
