Description
"An unprecedented number of changes to the patent system continue, coming from the courts, Congress and the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office. While these changes affect all applicants and patentees, nearly every one of the changes is most significant for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical
industries. These changes necessitate a revision of approaches and strategies for filing and prosecuting patent applications, licensing, obtaining funding and litigation. Because there are extensive changes that amplify each other, the strategies moving forward require significant planning and sophisticated analysis."

Objective1:Identify the myriad changes and their implications for biotech and specialty pharmaceutical companies.

Objective2:Provide advice and strategies to maximize success with patent portfolios, obtain funding and improve IP value.

Objective3:Provide ways to minimize risks and steps for moving forward through the mine field of patent law.
