Description
"Scientific communication strategies play a significant role in establishing visibility, credibility and valuation for companies and product candidates. This panel will explore the trends and liabilities inherent in publication planning, and suggest methods to coordinate and integrate those trends into a sound strategy that factors in company size and product stage. And in recognition of the fact that publications reach a broad and varied audience, the panel will address the push and pull of competing interests (researchers, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, marketing, etc.) and the potential for a "double-edged sword" effect."

Objective1:Understand the process of what to publish and when, and the varying roles in the publications process.

Objective2:Discuss the rising demand for greater transparency with respect to clinical trials and an increased demand for more data-driven marketing materials.

Objective3:Discuss post-publication strategies, including the impact of the media, advocacy organizations and other groups.
