Description
"Although technology transfer practices in Europe are broadly similar to those in the United States, there are important distinctions stemming from cultural, legal and political differences. This session will probe the movement of technologies from bench to market through the eyes of a distinguished panel of European experts. Among the topics to be presented are technology transfer laws and regulations in Europe, "personality" issues underlying European licensing practice, innovation and financing in Europe and practical advice on what to expect in negotiations with players from Germany, France, the UK and other European countries."

Objective1:Present an expert and up-to-date overview of practices in European technology transfer and licensing.

Objective2:Provide important information and fresh perspectives on innovation and knowledge transfer, with a tech transfer focus.

Objective3:"Educate on the distinct and sometimes difficult-to-understand legal and cultural differences within Europe and between European countries."
