Description
Advances in biomedicine increasingly allow researchers and clinicians to address disease on the fundamental, molecular level and tailor treatments to a patient's individual genetic makeup—creating a powerful movement among patients to harness their own clinical and genomic data in support of medical research. This session discusses the pathway
to connect genomics-based discovery research with clinical care, in order to accelerate identifi cation of biomarkers, conduct more efficient patient recruitment for clinical trials; improve clinical trials outcomes due to targeted patient selection; achieve faster delivery of new therapies to market; and reduce R&D costs.

• Discuss innovative tools, resources, and incentive models that encourage and support discovery and clinical development of new therapies for deadly and debilitating diseases
• Explore new business models, research platforms, collaborations and data-sharing partnerships
• Learn more and discover new ways to get involved in nation-wide demonstration projects
