Description
A panel of experts representing BIO, companies, government and payers will address the mechanisms of how to design and implement an integrated reimbursement strategy within the development and commercialization processes of a new biologic. Panelists will discuss the basic components of reimbursement policy (coding, coverage and payment) for biologics; describe the steps companies should take in order to successfully navigate the reimbursement pathway; and provide a forecast of new issues and challenges on the horizon for biotech firms in the reimbursement environment.

• Educate participants on the fundamental components of reimbursement (coding, coverage and payment)
• Identify best practices within biotech companies with respect to successfully navigating the reimbursement pathway in the United States, as well as review some common models for building an effective approach to reimbursement within a company's business development model
• To prepare companies for future challenges on the landscape with regards to reimbursement policy, and stress the importance of building a comprehensive approach to reimbursement as part of any business development plan
