Description
Product option strategic collaborations and other risk and benefit shifting arrangements have become increasingly prevalent in the early and midstages of life sciences product development deals. For commercialization partners, paying in measured ways for demonstrated success has clear benefits. For development partners, particularly those incurring R&D expense, such higher risk deals can be fraught with pitfalls, but under the right conditions may well have uniquely attractive benefi ts as well. This
panel examines how the characteristics of these deals may be balanced to address the many competing interests of parties to such arrangements.

• Interactively discuss cutting-edge deal structures
• Highlight methods to keep parties interests aligned to benefit long-term success
• Discuss root causes of potential problems and how to address them
