A panel of experts representing companies, government, and payers will discuss the various initiatives being unveiled around Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER), and what the opportunities and implications are for the biotechnology industry.

• Educate participants on the basic concepts around CER and identify the opportunities and implications for biotechnology companies with respect to CER
• Present the various proposals around how to effectively and systematically develop CER in the U.S., and discuss whether or not CER will result in better value and quality in the health care system
• Identify the opportunities and implications for biotechnology companies with respect to CER, and to prepare companies for the future development of CER as it impacts the adoption and access of a new biotechnology
