Description
With the growing popularity of gifts of securities, it is important to understand the implications of these gifts. This session will review how gifts of publicly-traded securities are processed and the systems and sample forms that need to be in place when these gifts are made. There will be a discussion of the parameters surrounding these gifts: such as valuations, circumstances surrounding liquidation, lightly traded securities, highly volatile securities, flow-through shares and all the dimensions that occur with these gifts.
