Description
Program Description
This webinar is intended to reacquaint experienced actuaries with the Code of Professional Conduct (Code) and commonly-used Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOPs). After a short review of these guidance documents, participants will be asked to apply their renewed knowledge by evaluating the merits of two contrasting solutions offered to resolve common ethical dilemmas.
The web conference will utilize online learning tools, such as polling and message boards for questions and comments. Participants will be asked to vote for the solution which most closely resembles how they would react in a similar situation. In addition, there will be opportunity for questions and comments about the Code and ASOPs as well as the individual cases through the on-line message board.
Intended Audience
This webinar is open to anyone interested in learning or reacquainting themselves with key professionalism standards and guidelines in a thought-provoking and entertaining manner.
Important: This webinar cannot be used by candidates in lieu of attending the Course on Professionalism.
