This session will take the principles of the Malcolm Baldrige Quality award and modify them into a common sense format to provide participants with a practical framework for making systematic and systemic changes. We’ll explore the seven Baldrige categories (Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer Focus, Knowledge Measurement, Human Resource Focus and Performance Results) and customize them so that districts are better able to assess and improve performance in business services, student achievement and other essential functions and programs. You’ll leave this breakout with a host of ideas that you can implement right away to achieve your own Performance Excellence.
