Description
SB08-212 put Colorado at the national forefront of standards and assessment reform. This breakout session will highlight CAP4K, its requirements and timelines, as well as what the newly adopted Colorado Academic Standards mean for our students and for educators. Among other things, we’ll talk about the school readiness and postsecondary and workforce readiness definitions, what students will be asked to know and show, and what this means for the future of our assessments. Come learn about the vision and design for a system of testing in Colorado that aligns education from early childhood all the way through higher education.
