Description
This presentation outlines the steps that managers need to take to identify their key employees and create engaging employment experiences for them. In a seller's job market (fewer job seekers than job openings) talented employees have lots of choice in where they work, and the head hunters are trying to pry them loose. Tim will use his Manager Engagement Model to explore what the elements of employee engagement are. Participants will learn how to identify who their key employees are and how to "build walls" around them through engaging management behaviour. The material in the presentation is based on Tim's book, Getting Engaged: The New Workplace Loyalty, Mattanie Press 2005.
