John Ibbitson is one of Canada's most respected political journalists. Currently The Globe and Mail's Washington columnist, he is the author of several award-winning books, including most recently The Polite Revolution . His commentary and writing have made a huge impact on the way Canadians see politics, from a provincial to a federal to an international level. For ten years, he covered municipal and provincial issues for Southam newspapers. He has also served as a columnist for The Citizen and The National Post. From 2002-2007, he was the political affairs columnist for The Globe and Mail.
