CSAE arranged for a special 90 minute webcast presentation on the economy and its implications for associations.
The webcast was presented by Paul Ferley, the Assistant Chief Economist for the Royal Bank of Canada.

This presentation addressed a number of key questions:

• What prompted the US economy to fall into recession?
• How will the downturn in the US impact the Canadian and provincial economies?
• What are policymakers doing to turn around our economy?
• How successful will they be and how long will it take?
