Description
The power of the internet is unquestionable. With the click of a mouse, a positive or negative mention of a blogger, or even how an association’s website is developed, a non-profit’s reputation can be exponentially built or tarnished in a short period of time. Many sessions speak of the importance of social media but few give attendees concrete strategies. In this session, attendees will learn how to tie the power of social media, e-mail newsletters & online PR into your organization’s communications strategies.
Learning Outcomes
1. Understand why online PR and a social media strategy are so important to non-profits and associations
2. Understand how association executives can implement online public relations activities into their overall communications and marketing strategy
3. Understand some of the basic and intermediate tactics association executives can implement to undertake an online PR campaign and grow positive buzz on the internet.
