Description
As peer specialists go to work alongside social workers, psychologists and other clinical providers, a clear definition of their complimentary roles is critical. In this course, participants will explore the unique role of peers in a multi-disciplinary setting and learn the basics on effectively interpreting their role and worth to others. The course will present guidelines on how peer support services can complement clinical services while still retaining a recovery focus.
