Liz Moench brings 25 years of pharmaceutical marketing-communications experience, pioneering industry’s first direct-to-consumer campaigns for a prescription drug and cliical trials. She currently serves as President of MediciGLOBAL, a position she has held for 16 years.

Over the last 20 years Rod has been involved in all aspects of clinical trials, global drug development and organizational design within the pharmaceutical and allied industries. Rod completed his MSc in Clinical Trial Methodology at McMaster University and his MBA at Queen’s University.

Social media has huge potential as a new set of tools to drive patient recruitment. How do you use it and what happens when you do? In this symposium, we will offer both successes and lessons learned from trying social media as a recruitment strategy.
Learning Objectives: Describe various different social media applications and their use in patient recruitment Discuss how to create and monitor social media content including the internal review process Share metrics used to assess the effectiveness of social media strategies to drive patient recruitment.
