Description
This session will focus on the specific types of social media currently being used by pharmaceutical companies with discussion on their successes and challenges. In addition, discussions on AE identification and collection while emphasizing the need for practices and guidance on the use of social media.

Describe how pharmaceutical companies are currently using social media
Define the challenges of social media used by the pharmaceutical companies industry
Explain how Adverse Events are being detected in social media and who is responsible for these Adverse Events Identify good social media practices.
