The employee assistance profession, much like our nation's mental health care system, is at a crossroads. The world is experiencing an epidemic of substance use and mental health conditions. Employee assistance programs are positioned to play an exceedingly important role in the behavioral health of its workers. The EAP profession must face the challenges and opportunities of transforming systems to influence the future. Join Kathryn Power as she discusses future trends related to community behavioural health and substance abuse and how employee assistance professionals can prepare for the coming future.
