Description
With the emergence of innovative approaches to prevention, screening, assessment, treatment, and support/follow-up, those working in the field of substance abuse need equally innovative mechanisms to support them in their on-going professional development. This presentation will introduce the Canadian Network of Substance Abuse and Allied Professionals that aims to facilitate the adoption of evidence-informed practice across the continuum of client or patient care. Learn about the factors that contributed to its development, the role of collaboration in its development, the impact the resource has had on its target audience to date, lessons learned, and future direction.
